Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ~4 oz seasoned bread crumbs
  • ~4 oz textured vegetable protein (TVP) or tofu (optional, but adds a great texture)
  • 2–3 Tbsp Cajun Blast Garlic Pepper Seasoning
  • Cajun Blast Barbecue Sauce
  • Cajun Blast Garlic Butter Basting Spray
  • 6 medium hamburger buns (Evangeline Maid brand recommended)

Instructions

1. Make the Patty Mix

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, seasoned bread crumbs (or TVP/tofu), and Cajun Blast Garlic Pepper Seasoning.

  • Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.

  • Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape into 3.75 oz patties.

2. Grill the Patties

  • Preheat your grill with both hot and cool zones.

  • Place the patties on the hot side of the grill and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through.

3. Glaze with BBQ Sauce

  • Spoon Cajun Blast Barbecue Sauce generously over each patty.

  • Move patties to the cool side of the grill, close the lid, and let the sauce caramelize for 2–3 minutes.

4. Toast the Buns

  • Open your hamburger buns and spray the insides generously with Cajun Blast Garlic Butter Basting Spray.

  • Place buns on the grill, cut-side down, and toast until golden and slightly crisp.

5. Build the Burgers

  • Place each glazed patty on a toasted bun.

  • That’s it—Buns. Meat. Sauce. Simple and perfect.
